About the Maple Youth Ballet

The Maple Youth Ballet was founded in October 2007 as a non-profit arts organization, led by Artistic Director Charles Maple and Executive Director Kathy Crade. The Maple Conservatory of Dance is the official school of the Maple Youth Ballet.

Maple Youth Ballet

The Maple Youth Ballet is devoted to providing young dancers with the exposure, training and performance opportunities to bridge the gap between student and professional dancers, while at the same time, offering Orange County and the surrounding Southern California communities professional-quality performances at affordable prices and the opportunity to learn about and gain a greater appreciation for the art of dance.

From our humble beginnings in 2007, to our sold-out annual performances of our full-length The Nutcracker, the Maple Youth Ballet has become one of Southern California’s most vibrant and accomplished pre-professional ballet companies.

The Maple Youth Ballet is dedicated to nuturing and inspiring our area’s most impressive up-and-coming young talent in a creative environment characterized by professional excellence. Our goal is to prepare and present our dancers in works that epitomize the artistry of professional ballet and instill in them a life-long love of dance that will stay with them and make them part of our larger dance family.
