Classical Dance Division (Ages 7-20)
No audition is required to enroll in the Classical Division, however students take a scheduled placement class prior to enrollment.
Our Classical Division consists of levels Primary through B4. Students take classes in ballet technique, pointe and variations at the appropriate level of development and conditioning. The normal course of study per level is one to two years. Dancers must master the curriculum in each level before advancing to the next level.

Formal evaluations take place once a year. Students may take part in at least 3 performances annually: MYB Nutcracker winter production in December, MYB Spring Ballet in March/April and our Spring Student Showcase in June. Also, because this is a curriculum-based program, dancers in the Classical Division are expected to maintain a minimum attendance rate.Students may elect to take additional classes in jazz, modern and other conditioning classes. These classes may be added to the monthly tuition at a reduced rate. On a space-available-basis, students may also drop in for these classes.
Levels B3, B2, & B1 are in the Professional Dance Division. Please visit the Professional Dance Division page for details.
Class enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. Classes are closed once capacity is reached.
