Senior Ballet Intensive Program
June 27 – August 15, 2017
Our six-week senior program is for male & female intermediate and advanced-level dancers who want to receive a high-caliber of dance training in a small-class environment.
Our program will offer a rigorous training program for serious dancers that will focus on developing strong, consistent classical technique, which is crucial for successful progress in ballet and other dance styles.
Participation in the Senior Ballet Intensive requires a commitment of at least two weeks.
Audition for Senior Intensive
Sunday February 12th, 2017

Junior/Senior Dancers en pointe
Registration is 30 minutes prior to audition time.
Auditions by appointment or video will be accepted until all spaces are filled.
Supervised Housing Available
Admission to our summer program is by audition only. The audition will take place at our Irvine location.
Dancers should audition in the age group based on their age on June 27, 2017.

Audition Fee & Requirements
The class audition fee is $25 payable by cash only (exact change is preferred). Dancers should bring a full-body photo in first arabesque position wearing practice clothes and no skirts.
Note that local students who cannot attend our February 12th audition class may make arrangements with us to audition on another date; the audition fee for alternative audition dates is $35 for a 1.5 hour class and $50 for a 1.5 hour class (plus evaluation for pointe).

Class Curriculum & Schedule
Classes will take place Monday through Friday. There are no make up classes for classes missed during this Summer Intensive. If you must cancel for any reason, you must submit this in writing. A partial refund may be given on a case by case basis, basis for students who withdraw due to severe illness or injury that is documented by a physician.
Limited supervised housing is available for dancers ages 13 & older.
Dancers must be at least age 11 by June 27, 2017 to attend. A limited number of scholarships will be available.
Schedule of Audition Notices & Deposits
Applicants will be notified of audition results within one week of their audition. Students who are accepted will receive instructions for securing their place in our summer program.
- February 2017: Enrollment packets will be sent by email.
- March 2017: Submit enrollment forms and full tuition to receive Early Bird Discount.
- March 2017: Deposit (50% of tuition) due.
- April 2017: All enrollment forms and full tuition and fees are due. Completed housing forms and a 50% housing deposit are due.
- June 2017: Balance of housing fee is due to the Maple Conservatory of Dance.
Senior Intensive Program Tuition
Our summer program tuition is as follows:
* Early Bird Discount: Receive the specified tuition discount by submitting full payment and required documents by March 2017.
Deposit & Payment Deadlines (for Non-Early Bird Applicants)
Space in our intensive programs are filled on a first-come, first-served basis and invited dancers must confirm their acceptance and secure their space by completing and returning their application forms along with the required deposit (50% of tuition) by March 2017. The remaining tuition balance is due by April 2017.
A limited number of partial and full tuition scholarships are available for select students.
Scholarship applicants are reviewed by the directors of the Maple Conservatory on the basis of demonstrated financial need and technical/artistic proficiency and merit.
