2-Week Technique Intensive For Advanced Dancers

Dancers interested in auditioning must contact us to make an appointment for an audition class before the deadline. Only a few openings remain!

The Maple Conservatory's 2-Week Technique Intensive program is for male & female advanced level dancers ages 12-23 who wish to continue their "intensive" training in August before their regular training begins in the fall.

Students must be ages 12-23 during the summer program. Female students must be en pointe for at least two years prior to the start of our program to be considered.

Program Description

Our 2-Week Technique Intensive is a rigorous program for advanced dancers. The intensive consists of daily classes from 12 Noon to 4pm, Monday through Friday.

Summer Program Faculty

Our technique intensive faculty will feature Conservatory Director Charles Maple and Intensives Program Director Chris Martin, as well as the rest of our fantastic Maple Conservatory faculty.

Curriculum and Class Schedule

Our curriculum will include:

Ballet technique, pointe, variations and conditioning

Classes will be held each day from 12 Noon to 4pm, Monday through Friday. Our small class sizes offer students an opportunity for personal attention and correction.

Program Tuition

Tuition for our 2-Week Technique Intensive For Advanced Dancers Program is $275.00 for one week and $500.00 for two weeks. A deposit of $125.00 is due at the time that the application is submitted. Tuition will increase to $375.00 for one week and $600.00 for two weeks for enrollment applications received after June 1.

Space in the program is filled on a first-come, first-served basis and invited students must confirm their acceptance and secure their space by completing and returning their application forms with the required deposit. Full payment must be received before July 15.

Refund Policy

A student must attend the entire summer program. If you decide to withdraw from one of the 2008 Maple Conservatory Summer Intensives before it begins, you must send notification in writing by May 1, 2008. If written notification is received by May 1 you will be refunded your tuition payment, minus a $85.00 non-refundable program deposit. If you withdraw after May 1 you will receive neither refund, discount nor recompense.
