Rudyland PhotographyThis division consists of three levels:
Pre-Ballet students ages 4 & 5 take one class per week, but may choose to take more than one class per week. Pre-Ballet students ages 6 & 7 (first year) take class two times per week. Primary Ballet students also take class two times per week.
Tuition is based on the number of classes taken per week. Dancers may choose to take additional classes in Lyrical and Jazz. These classes are available at a reduced rate and are added to the monthly tuition.
Note that class enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. Classes are closed once capacity is reached.
No audition is required to enroll in the Classical Division, however students take a scheduled placement class.
Our Classical Division consists of levels B7 through B1 (Ballet 7 through Ballet 1). Students take classes in ballet technique, pointe and variations at the appropriate level of development and conditioning. The normal course of study per level is one to two years. Dancers master the curriculum in each level before advancing to the next level.
Level B7 (ages 7-9)We also offer a separate Men's variations class during the week, as well as a separate Boys class.
Formal evaluations take place twice a year. Students also take part in two performances annually: our Nutcracker winter production and our Spring Student Showcase in June. Also, because this is a curriculum-based program, dancers in the Classical Division are expected to maintain a minimum attendance rate.
Students may elect to take additional classes in jazz, modern and other conditioning classes. These classes may be added to the monthly tuition at a reduced rate. On a space-available-basis, students may also drop in for these classes.
Note that class enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. Classes are closed once capacity is reached.
The Professional Dance Division program is designed for the most serious dance students. This rigorous program is designed for students who seek to enter dance as a profession upon graduation from high school and for other students who wish to further their dance training and education at the most competitive and selective university dance programs.
An audition is required for acceptance into the Professional Dance Division. The minimum age for consideration is 13. Note that the Professional Division is at least a one-year committment.

Students must be highly self-motivated and exhibit an advanced level of technical competency and promise for acceptance to this division. Students in the Professional Division are placed in Classical Division Levels B4 through B1.
Beyond the core classes in the Classical Division, the Professional Division consists of these additional classes:
Students in the Professional Dance Division become members of our Maple Youth Ballet pre-professional company and participate in at least three productions each year: our Nutcracker winter full-length production, our spring full-length ballet production and our Spring Student Showcase in June.
Scholarships and financial assistance are available based on merit and need for students accepted to the Professional Division.
The Open Division program is geared for dancers, ages 14 and older, from novice to professional. Classes offered include introductory, intermediate, and advanced ballet. Our open classes are taught by our fantastic open class faculty.
Beginning Open BalletBeginning ballet is the perfect way for those who are starting ballet again after many years, or those that have enough knowledge of the ballet curriculum to complete a faster moving beginning ballet class.
This class is designed for those who have taken at least two years of current ballet training, or completed the introductory ballet class. Emphasis in intermediate ballet is placed on developing technical strength and more advanced movement qualities.
This course is for experienced adults and teens who have had at least four years of ballet training. This class is taught at a professional level and uses the full range of classical ballet technique.
Students who wish to take classes in our Open Division may visit view our Open Class Schedule.
