2008 Pre-Ballet Summer Camps

We are pleased to offer the community three, fun-filled Pre-Ballet summer camps for boys & girls ages 4-8 to be held in August:

• Dance Around The World (Ages 6-8) – August 4-8
• Tales of Beatrix Potter (Ages 4-6) – August 11, 13 & 15
• A Mermaid Adventure – A Musical Theater Workshop (Ages 5-7) – August 18-22

Pre-Ballet Summer Camp Faculty

Pili Doheny, Maple Conservatory Assistant Director, Pre-Ballet Program
Ms. Doheny began her ballet training at age three under Maria De Varona, a former ballerina with the National Ballet of Cuba and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in Psychology with an emphasis in Child Development.Read Pili's biography…

Rochone Anderson, Maple Conservatory Adjunct Faculty Member (Musical Theatre camp)
Rochone Anderson started out in Musical Theatre and was introduced to the world of dance at the age of 12. Soon after graduating from the OC High School of the Performing Arts, Mr. Anderson began working in the industry and his credits include Fame, Aida and Dreamgirls. Read Rochone's biography…

Ruth Ziegler, Maple Conservatory Ballet Faculty Member
While attending Cal Poly State University in San Luis Obispo, Ms.Ziegler performed with Cal Poly's Orchesis dance company and the San Luis Ballet Theatre. Dance Around The World – August 4-8

Our Dance Around The World program is designed for boys & girls ages 6-8.

Schedule: The program is five days and will take place on Monday through Friday, August 4-8 from 9:30am to 12:30pm.

Tuition: $200.00 per child

Tales of Beatrix Potter – August 11, 13 & 15

Our Tales of Beatrix Potter program is designed for boys & girls ages 4-6.

Schedule: The program is three days and will take place on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, August 11, 13 & 15 from 10am to 12 Noon.

Tuition: $125.00 per child

A Mermaid Adventure, A Musical Theater Workshop – August 18-22

Our Mermaid Adventure, A Musical Theater Workshop program is designed for boys & girls ages 5-7.

Schedule: The program is five days and will take place on Monday through Friday, August 18-22 from 10am to 12:30pm.

Tuition: $175.00 per child

Refund Policy

Registration forms with payment must be received no later than July 22. Registered students who are unable to attend due to a medical reason may receive a partial refund, minus a $50 administrative fee, provided notice is given before the first day of the program. Partial refunds are only granted to those who provide a signed note by a medical doctor. Once the program begins, there are no refunds.

How To Sign Up

Space in our Pre-Ballet Summer Camps are filled on a first-come, first-served basis and parents can secure their child's enrollment by completing our registration form (pdf) and returning it to the Maple Conservatory with payment (cash, check, VISA or Mastercard).

If paying by credit card, you may also fax it to us at 949-660-9932. Registration forms are also available at the Maple Conservatory of Dance.
