The Maple Conservatory of Dance offers two summer intensive age-specific programs for male & female intermediate- & advanced-level dancers.
Both summer programs will be taught by notable guest teachers and our world-class faculty using the same curriculum and teaching methods which have established the Maple Conservatory of Dance as the premier training ground in Southern California.
* Participation in the Senior Ballet Intensive requires a commitment of at least two weeks.
"Maple Conservatory is an outstanding studio. Last summer, my dancers chose Maple over a nationally-known, top-tier ballet academy, and we know we made the right choice. The first-quality training, reasonably-sized classes, and welcoming atmosphere helped all the students there improve a great deal. This year, my dancers received several scholarship awards from company-affiliated schools conducting national auditions. There's no doubt that this happened as the result of the improvement they made at Maple and have continued to build upon." —Parent of 2010 Summer Program attendees
Charles Maple
Conservatory Director &
Summer Program Director"Individual attention and small class sizes are the priority of the Maple Conservatory Summer Intensives. At the foundation of these programs is the instructors' ability to communicate the knowledge developed from their own accomplished classical and contemporary dance careers. Through the practical application of alignment, muscality and getting each student to recognize their strengths and limitations, the instructors demystify the challenges of classical technique. At the conclusion of each intensive, every dancer will have the means to continue to mature beyond the experience of the summer." —Charles Maple, Conservatory Director
