Kathy has over 20 years of administrative and supervisory experience. She was a key figure in the research, development and establishment of our nation’s first Ovarian Cancer Screening Center. As a mom of 3 young dancers, Kathy searched high and low for the very best schools for dance training. Kathy’s oldest daughter, a scholarship recipient and graduate of the North Carolina School of the Arts (ballet major) and The Juilliard School (BFA in Dance Performance) in New York City is currently modeling and dancing professionally in New York.
As directors, Charles and Kathy form a unique team that highlights their best skills and experiences in creating a dance school of international repute. Their involvement with each level of the Conservatory and working relationship with the teachers, students and parents come together in their vision of a conservatory that represents the teaching styles, techniques and curricula that they have found to be most beneficial to student dancers.
