Spend an elegant evening with the Maple Youth Ballet as we honor Donalyn Kling of the Kling Family Foundation at the harborside location of Black, Starr & Frost, America's first jeweler since 1810. The evening will benefit classical youth ballet and the Charles A. Maple, Sr. Scholarship.

The evening will feature fine art, silent auction, raffle scrumptious appetizers, beverages and wine, and of course, a special appearance by our Maple Youth Ballet dancers! Black Starr & Frost will donate 10% of all purchases that evening to the Maple Youth Ballet!

About Donalyn Kling

Donalyn Kling's devotion was first inspired by her mother, Lillian Sherwood Griswold, a kindergarten teacher and artist. Mrs. Kling later studied interior design student at Chouinard's Art School, and then worked as a draftswoman at the Lockheed-Vega Aircraft Plant during the Second World War. Her passion for art continues today, having studied with many well-known Laguna Beach artists, and by generously supporting youth arts education through the Kling Family Foundation.

The Maple Youth Ballet is delighted to say thank you to Mrs. Kling and her family. Through her support, we have produced sold-out performances of The Nutcracker, Copelia and Sleeping Beauty. These productions not only give our young dancers the exciting and team-building experience of live performance, but also inspire thousands of young children whose first exposure to ballet is at a Maple Youth Ballet performance.

The gallery will donate 5% of the sale made on March 9 to Maple Youth Ballet. Additionally, they will donate 5% tfor a period of 30 days for any sales from clients who attended the gala.
