From the moment the lights dim, you will be transported to a magical place filled with dancing snowflakes, a dashing prince, and Tchaikovsky's majestic score based on one of the world's most beloved ballets.

Share the tradition of fantasy as the Sugar Plum Fairy, Nutcracker Prince and Clara ignite the imagination of your princes and princesses of all ages. Watch as this unique Orange County experience unfolds, showcasing more than 80 exceptionally talented & classically trained dancers from across the Southland!

Featuring original choreography by Artistic Director Charles Maple, The Maple Youth Ballet's The Nutcracker is a full-length rendition-with-a-twist of E.T.A. Hoffman’s time-honored classic which centers around Clara, a young girl who yearns to one day become a professional ballerina.

Running Time: About 2 hours with intermission; refreshments & snacks will be on sale along with our spectacular Nutcracker boutique!

Special Guest Artist: Aaron Smyth, ABT Studio Company (ABT II)

Aaron Smyth, a member of American Ballet Theatre's acclaimed ABT Studio Company (formely called ABT II) and a Gold Medalist in the Genée International Ballet Competition, will guest perform in the Maple Youth Ballet's The Nutcracker. ABT Studio Company is a classical company of young dancers who show outstanding potential and are hand-picked from around the world by the ABT artistic staff.

Tickets On Sale NOW at Economy-Friendly Prices!

Regular admission tickets are only $30|$24 for weekend (Saturday & Sunday) performances and $28|$22 for weekday performances.  (A small ticket service fee will be applied during purchase.)

Be a Maple Youth Ballet Patron!  Purchase Patron tickets at $50 per person and get the best seats in the house in the Center Main rows D & E and receive a complimentary beverage & gourmet dessert during intermission!  Proceeds will help underwrite our Nutcracker production.

Groups of 10 or more can buy tickets at a 10% discount by phone. (Patron tickets are excluded from group discounts.)

Ticket Availability Update:  Center Main is sold out for all performances.  (A limited number of Patron seats are still available for some performances.)  Excellent seats remain for all performances!  Tickets will be on sale at the theater starting one hour before each performance.

Two Ways to Purchase Tickets:

• Live Phone Sales:  Call our official ticket vendor ShowClix at 888-71-TICKETS (888-718-4253) Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 6:00 pm Pacific Time where a ShowClix representative will assist you.
• Online Ticket Sales:  Purchase regular admission tickets on our secure website below hosted by ShowClix.

Our Ticket Purchase Policy

• Tickets purchased in which Will Call is requested, will be held under the purchaser's name for pick up at the theatre's Will Call window on the day of the performance, starting one hour before the performance.
  (Purchasers may instead choose to have their tickets sent to them by e-mail immediately after they complete their purchase so they can print their tickets at home.)
• There are no refunds or exchanges on ticket purchases. All sales are final.
• The Maple Youth Ballet will re-issue lost tickets for the same performance at no charge. Lost tickets may not be redeemed for a missed performance.
• A $25 processing fee will be charged for all returned checks.
